Vitamin D3, also known as cholecalciferol, is a kind of vitamin D. The 7-dehydrocholesterol generated after cholesterol dehydrogenation can be irradiated by ultraviolet light to form cholecalciferol, so that the vitamin D of cholecalciferol is 7-dehydrocholesterol.Vitamin D2 is produced by UV irradiation of ergosterol in plants and is less present in nature. Vitamin D3 is converted from the 7-dehydrocholesterol contained in the epidermis and dermis of most higher animals by ultraviolet irradiation. Vitamin D3 is an active form of vitamin D with the highest biological metabolic rate.

Usage:
