Description:

Mecobalamin is an organic compound, chemical formula C63H91CoN13O14P, is an endogenous vitamin B12, present in the blood, pulp fluid, can cross the blood-brain barrier without biotransformation, can be used to treat or prevent vitamin B12 deficiency and its complications. When taken, mecobalamin can replace endogenous vitamin B12, increase vitamin B12 levels, and improve vitamin B12 deficiency. Vitamin B12 is necessary for hematopoiesis, neural metabolism, DNA and RNA production, carbohydrate, fat, and protein metabolism, helps improve the function of iron in the metabolic cycle, and assists folate in choline synthesis.

Usage: 

It can promote axon transport function and axon regeneration, normalize axon skeleton protein transport in sciatic nerve induced by streptomycin in diabetic rats. It can inhibit the neurodegeneration caused by drugs, such as doxorubicin, acrylamide, vincristine and spontaneous hypertensive rat neurodegeneration. It was found to promote lecithin synthesis and neuronal myelination in rat tissue culture. This product can restore the delayed reduction of synaptic transmitter to normal, and can restore the normal level of acetylcholine in the brain of rats fed cholinergic deficiency diet by improving the ultimate plate potential induction of nerve fiber excitability recovery.
