L-Glutamine

Description:

L-glutamine is an important amino acid additive that is often added to mammalian cell culture medium. L-glutamine can be used as an auxiliary energy source, especially when cells divide rapidly. L-glutamine is also involved in the formation of purine and pyrimidine nucleotides, amino sugars, glutathione, L-glutamate, and other amino acids, and is involved in protein synthesis and glucose production.

Usage: 

Increase strength, improve endurance. During exercise, the increase of acidic metabolites in the body acidifies body fluids. Glutamine has the potential to produce bases, thus reducing to some extent the reduction in exercise capacity or fatigue caused by acidic substances. Glutamine has important immunomodulatory effects, it is necessary for lymphocyte secretion, proliferation and function maintenance. As the precursor and main energy source of nucleic acid biosynthesis, glutamine can promote the mitosis, differentiation and proliferation of lymphocytes and macrophages.
