Citric Acid is a weak organic acid. It is a natural preservative and is also used to add an acidic, or sour, taste to foods and soft drinks. In biochemistry, it is important as an intermediate in the citric acid cycle and therefore occurs in the metabolism of virtually all living things. It can also be used as an environmentally benign cleaning agent. Citric acid granular has two types: Citric Acid Monohydrate and Citric Acid Anhydrous, with different mesh size.
China is the biggest citric acid and citrate producing and exporting country. Up to this year, China fermentative capability is more than 2.5 million every year. And the export quantity has been alredy more than 1.5 million mt every year.
